Social Media Manager
Strategy and planning
Build and maintain a content calendar across all our brands
Work weeks and months ahead, never just day to day
Coordinate timing around releases, announcements, on-sales, shows and drops
Anticipate what's coming and have content built before it's needed
Content
Source from existing material: archive, artist assets, press, live footage, fan content
Create original content to tell and amplify ours and others’ stories
Capture on site at shows and events, including nights and weekends
Appear on camera as part of the brands' image and voice
Adapt and format content for each platform
Write copy and captions
Publishing
Post daily across all accounts with a strategic, complimentary mix of content
Maintain each brand's distinct voice, standards, and visual language
Community and ecosystem
Monitor and respond to comments and DMs
Engage with artists, partners, venues, and audience
Keep accounts active, healthy, and growing
Performance and growth
Track and report on analytics across platforms
Run and support paid campaigns
Test, learn, and refine what works on each platform
Develop and evolve the growth strategy, voice and audience across all four brands
Who you are
Familiarity with and interest in jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and the lineage connecting them
Curious and proactive
Invested in our story and able to carry it in your own voice
Driven by community, online and in the room
Comfortable on camera and comfortable pointing one at other people
Organized enough to run four calendars at once and keep the voices separate
Fluent in how each platform actually works, not just how it's described in a deck
Available for nights and weekends when there's a show
Helpful but not required
Experience running or working on accounts for a brand, artist, venue, or your own project with an audience
Working knowledge of paid social (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads)
Basic photo and video editing — enough to turn a phone clip into a post

Graphic Designer/Video Editor
Scope
Design graphics that stay true to our brand indentities
Cut video for campaigns across our brand identities
Work alongside the social media team from concept through delivery
Optimize every asset for its platform: Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Mixcloud, Substack
Graphics
Design event flyers, social carousels, and advertisements
Edit and retouch photography
Reformat and adapt existing assets across sizes and placements
Produce website assets and merchandise
Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Editing
Cut original content, long form and short form
Build edits from in-house archival footage
Produce advertisements and show visuals
Adapt and format each edit per platform
Tools: Premiere Pro, After Effects
Who You Are
Familiarity with and interest in jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and the lineage connecting them
Invested in our story and able to translate it visually across four distinct identities
Fluent in all major social media platforms
Available for nights and weekends when there's a show
Helpful but not required
Experience running or working on accounts for a brand, artist, venue, or your own project with an audience
