Jazz Is Dead 001 is the first installation of Series 1 for the Jazz Is Dead record label.  This album features a compilation of newly recorded songs by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, in collaboration with ‘60s and '70s jazz icons: Roy Ayers, Marcos Valle, Azymuth, Doug Carn, Gary Bartz, João Donato and Brian Jackson. The Jazz is Dead library has become an essential part of the modern crate digger’s collection.
