This album features seven original songs by Adrian Younge, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and the new Los Angeles collective, Katalyst. The group members have become favorites of Jazz Is Dead, appearing either on stage or in the studio with legends like Ronnie Laws, Lonnie Liston Smith, Gary Bartz, Roy Ayers and more. Katalyst JID013 represents a new sound for the Los Angeles jazz scene. All songs produced by Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad.
